Yes, I keep changing the title picture (which is a photo of last year's Empress of India nasturtiums after a rain, by the way)... I figured it is best if the text reflects the state of my garden, and the state of my garden is currently bug-munched. Something small is chewing tiny holes in the pea seedlings and in just 2 nights something larger is impressively crippling the zucchini sprouts.
Ack!! The horror!
Om nom nom!
And so, I pour a libation to the garden gods, right into a homemade slug trap. The bugs get to drink Sam Adams, 'cause I wasn't about to sacrifice the Guinness! I'm interested to see if this actually works.
Drink up!

beer for bugs!
i love it.
Only the best for my pests! :)
dude! i've always seen little asian girls doing ashiatsu on tv shows and movies on big crime bosses. i'd be a bit scared to stand on people...but i can imagine that it'd feel soooo good. in any case, i think you should go for the certification too...it can be your other side business. like you said, passing on the relaxation to others can be very rewarding :)
also, if i was a snail or slug, i'd definitely want to die in a vat of beer
From what I hear from my massage therapist friend, ashiatsu is less like "standing" on someone's back, and more like "hanging" from the bars that requires a lot of arm strength, since less than half her weight is on someone's back (though it's definitely intense for the massagee!). I totally want to get trained and certified... and I have a feeling my husband would love it too! :)
